Securing Access to Clean Water in Bashiqa

Nadia's Initiative has launched a new WASH project in Bashiqa. The Initiative will rehabilitate 8 existing boreholes and drill 1 new borehole from scratch. This project will have a profound impact on the region by ensuring access to safe drinking water for 4,000 residents.

Planting Seeds for a Better Future

Nadia's Initiative Completes Rehabilitation of Sheikh Obaker Temple

In Bashiqa, Nadia’s Initiative rehabilitated the WASH facilities, kitchen, and main yard of Sheikh Obaker Temple. Sheikh Obaker is the third Yazidi temple the Initiative has rehabilitated. We hope the restored temples will offer a safe venue for future religious celebrations.
