Reading has the potential to help survivors heal and overcome their trauma. It is also an achievable and sustainable form of redevelopment.
Did you know that Nadia’s Initiative has already built 3 school libraries in Sinjar? Libraries represent safe spaces for learning and healing. Providing students with access to books promotes literacy in communities and increases students’ chances of attaining higher education.
