Nadia's Initiative Engages the Community

As part of its community-driven, survivor-centric programming, Nadia’s Initiative’s programs team conducts regular community outreach workshops every month in different areas of Sinjar.

During the workshops, attendees listen to updates from our team about the projects we have completed and are currently implementing in the region. Through surveys and focus group discussions, attendees are able to share their feedback on NI’s work and make recommendations for future projects.

Sustainable development means grassroots, community-informed projects that include the voices and concerns of the individuals we are serving.
