Nadia's Initiative and USAID Support North Sinjar Electricity Directorate

115,000 residents in the Northern Sinjar region no longer have to wait days for electrical outages to be restored. Nadia's Initiative and USAID improved the Al Shamal Electricity Directorate's efficiency by providing bucket cranes and an array of safety equipment. With the necessary tools, trucks, and equipment, the Directorate’s staff can now provide better and more timely services to the community, while also working in a safer environment that doesn’t put their well being at risk.
